Summit Engineering offers claims analysis, evaluation and consultation involving property losses in residential, commercial and industrial structures resulting from foundation settlement, wind damage, material and construction defects, improper loading conditions and water damage. Evaluation of loss is available to determine the cause and scope of the damage. Repair cost estimates and schedules can be determined to provide a guide for correcting structural defects.

Typically, an engineer can be on-site within 24 hours of your call. This prompt response is essential to properly document the evidence, determine the cause of loss and determine the scope of damage before clean-up efforts are begun. Following the initial investigation, estimates of the cost to repair or replace the damaged components and a repair or replacement time schedule can be prepared independently. Additionally, Summit Engineering can review estimates prepared by the insured or the insured’s representative. If required, comparisons between estimates prepared by Summit Engineering and estimates prepared by the insured can be conducted to determine where the differences may have arisen.
